A Fantastic holiday ~ Magic ~ Just perfect

On Holiday With The Animals

At Torridge House Cottages you can join in to "help feed the animals". The family and friends who run the farm have been providing farm cottages for families for many years. The atmosphere they have created is truly special! The cottages, animal feeding and the facilities on the farm are all exceedingly child friendly and extremely good value. Families staying at Torridge House say that they have fantastic holidays, that they have found a rare gem – a holiday experience that exceeded high expectations. Twice a day the lambs, pigs, chickens, ducks and rabbits are fed and there is a "get to know the small animals time" around the table.

The farm is surrounded on three sides by farmland. It is in a beautiful part of Devon, with lovely views all around, lots of toys, lots of space to run around, to play, peace, countryside, clean air, village scenes, seasides, moors, markets, woods, farmhouse meals, country pubs, seaside pubs, attractions, fishing, walking, cycling, parks, boats trips, riding all within easy reach. At every time of year there is always something special to enjoy.

The countryside is a beautiful patchwork of farmland and woodland with picture postcard villages inland, old fashioned seaside towns, bustling new shopping centres, market towns, fishing villages and lots of good places to eat.

On the farm is an outdoor seasonal heated swimming pool, a games room, a playroom, games, library as well as the gardens. The cottages are lovely even extra special, warm and comfortable and equipped to a high standard. Cottages are available for February half term and throughout the year.
