These artist-led workshops will encourage creativity using a range of materials and techniques including drawing, gadget and image-making, using forest materials, inspired by nature and curiosity around the ideas explored in the Science Nature & Identity exhibition at SVA Ashford gallery.

1 December – Susan Shaw MY FOREST Put your thoughts and feelings about forests into a huge drawing on giant paper pieces

8 December – Martin Brockman TREE INK Use materials from the forest to make ink and charcoal drawings

15 December – Andy Evans THROUGH CHRISTMAS EYES See the world in a different way as you make and use playful gadgets which change the way we see. Experiment with kaleidoscopes, zoetropes, lenses, camera obscura.
